Sri Prabab Mukherjee, Ex President of India to hand over Visionary Edupreneur 2017 Award to Mahbubul Hoque

It is a proud moment in the higher education sector in North East India as Sri Mahbubul Hoque, Chancellor, University of Science and Technology Meghalaya and Chairman, ERD Foundation Guwahati will be receiving the prestigious honour of Visionary Edupreneur 2017 from Sri Pranab Mukherjee, the 13th President of India, at the National Convention of Eduleaders and Edupreneurs in Higher Education at Civil Services Officers' Institute (CSOI), Vinay Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi on December 11, 2017.

According to Dr Surbhi Vaish Mittal, President, Rethink India and Raghav Mittal, Editor, Rethink India, this honour will be delivered by the former President of India who has taken up the cause of education as the one and only driving force for attaining all inclusive development of the nation. Shri Mittal said that the reason behind nominating Shri Mahbubul Hoque as one of the Visionary Edupreneurs of India is that he has displayed unrelenting effort and undeterred spirit to empower the rural people of the region through education. Organised by Rethink India Foundation, the national level 5th Estate Higher Education Awards 2017 will be conferred in different categories.
